I would like to say a big thank you to all that helped in my 2003 Manx GP. Thanks for the support.

As you will have noticed I will racing in the Manx Grand Prix this season. The Manx GP takes place between 16th & 29th of August and I will be racing on the 25th in the Newcomers Race and 29th in the Ultra Light Weight both on the Honda RVF400.
Below is a list of all the cost that are involved in racing in the Manx Grand Prix. This list will be updated as and when new cost are found, if you know any I have missed please e-mail me.
If you can help in anyway or would like to sponsor me for say tyres or fuel I will add a link and give you all the coverage possible.
I have recived backing from the Mike Hailwood foundation and will be reciving help and guidance from them in the run-up to and during the Manx GP.

Spanner person required for manx fortnight, please get in contact if you are over for the Manx and facny giving a newcomer a hand! Got one I think, me MUM!!!!

We have decided to build a complete new bike for the Southern 100 and Manx Grand Prix this year, to see full spec and watch its progress click on the link below.(Update - Bike actually finished 4th in class both races this year).

Entry Fee's:- £135 per race/2 races = £270.00
Newcomers race funded by Training UK, Ultralight Wieght race funded by Wessex International Transport.

Tyres:- 2x Michelin Piolts @ £200 per set.

Oil Filters:- 4x @ £7.50 each.

A £100 donation from the family of Dilwyn Williams for winning the Wirral 100 Championship will help with these. Thank you.

Ferry Crossing:- £404.00 with Caravan.

Half cost paid for by my Mum, arrh init sweet.


Foods and Drink:-Inc Hospitality = Approx £250.00.
Funded by Donation from Two Tone Motors

Race Fuel:- Approx £150.00 over the 2 weeks.

Engine Refresh before Manx:- £750.00(complete new bike actually, engine work alone cost me £2500)

Fuel for Van:- Approx £60.00.

Van fuel supplied by LPD Electrical Ltd

Petrol for Generator:- Approx £0.00 Power on site.
Funded by sale of tyre warmer to Ozzy!!!

Brake Pads:- 2 sets @ £30.00 per set.

Set of new Fibre Glass Body Work:- £200.00
Supplied by AMS-Motorsport.

New Battery:- £35.00

Paid for by selling NC30 seat unit.

Chains:- 2 @ £55.00 each. Ordered from Lintek.

Oil:- £60.00 over 2 weeks

TranX 260 Transpnder. £160.00.
A birthday gift from my wife! Cool eh?

This is kind support from family and friends and what I can save each month. Plus selling all the "spares" in my shed!

As you can see there is a lot to be arranged, any help no matter how small is most welcome. Even a set of brake pads is one less expense I will need to find and can spend more time and effort preparing the bike.
